Dr. Sambit Mondal, MD

Electrophysiologist

Sambit Mondal, MD, is a board-certified electrophysiologist and cardiac device specialist. Dr. Mondal earned his medical degree from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, India. He completed his residency in internal medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. After completing an additional residency at University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital in Florida, Dr. Mondal stayed at Jackson Memorial Hospital to complete his electrophysiology fellowship. In addition to his board certification in electrophysiology, he also has his board certification in cardiovascular disease. Dr. Mondal finds that the most rewarding part of his job is seeing a patient go from having debilitating symptoms to being symptom-free after ablation therapy.
